Selected Comments from Students
"The course and professor involved the students in discussions and simplified complicated subjects to facilitate my understanding of certain topics. He prepared us very well for the quizzes and exams, but also taught us theories and other general information that is applicable outside of the classroom. I think both my grades, and general knowledge and thinking skills were improved upon and refined throughout the entirety of the International Relations Course."

"Great TA all around, he has a reputation in among students I have spoken to for truly caring for his students."

"One of the best TAs i have ever had. He truly put his students first, he was an effective communicator and teacher. Kee Hyun was fully in charge of Thursday lectures and his main mission was clearly the success of his students through understanding the material. He could have been the Professor and I wouldn't have questioned his skills and capabilities once."

"The TA was so so so great. He made it so much easier to understand the topic and the coding of the class. Bless for Kee Hyun, you were so amazing. You were open during your office hours and you respected that the majority of the class did not have any computer science background. Thank you for TAing for us."

"I absolutely loved my discussion for this course, it is what led me to enjoy the material I was learning. He did a good job of fostering discussion between us students by asking complex yet engaging questions. He would listen and ask follow up questions that were specific to what we just said, helping us develop and refine our own personal opinions of the concepts discussed. He was very attentive to our concerns and always did his best to answer them. Lastly, he created a very fun yet safe atmosphere to express our opinions."

"The discussion sections were very good. Unlike many "discussions" that involve the TA just repeating what the professor has said, Kee Hyun really let the students create our own ideas, at times coming to agreement and at times having significant disagreements that led to good discussions and refinement of ideas. These discussions helped immensely when it came time to write the paper."

"Kee is a great TA. He was always very engaging in discussion section. He brought good questions to discussion sections and always posed interesting new questions to carry forward the conversation. He didn't force his own ideas and encouraged people to think about the material on their own and form their own opinions. His attitude was always very friendly and helpful."
